Overview

The Certn integration monitors your background check platform: applications, candidates, background checks, and reports. LowerPlane uses read-only access via an API Key to collect compliance evidence automatically.

Prerequisites

You need Certn Admin permissions to generate an API key with read access.

How to Get Your API Key

Log in to Certn

Log in to your Certn Dashboard.

Navigate to API Keys

Go to Settings > Team Settings > API Keys.

Create a new API key

Click Add API Key. Set the permission to Full Access :: Read and copy the generated key.

Connecting in LowerPlane

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in LowerPlane
  2. Find Certn under HR
  3. Enter your API Key
  4. Click Connect
