Overview

The OpsGenie integration monitors your incident management platform: alerts, incidents, schedules, users, teams, escalations, heartbeats, and audit logs. LowerPlane uses read-only access via an API Key to collect compliance evidence automatically.

Prerequisites

You need OpsGenie Account Admin permissions to create an API key with read access.

How to Get Your API Key

Log in to OpsGenie

Log in to your OpsGenie Dashboard.

Navigate to API key management

Go to Admin > Settings > API key management.

Create a new API key

Click Add new API key. Set the access level to Token :: Read Access and copy the generated key.

Note your region

Determine your OpsGenie region from your URL: app.opsgenie.com (US) or app.eu.opsgenie.com (EU).

Connecting in LowerPlane

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in LowerPlane
  2. Find OpsGenie under Incident Management
  3. Enter your API Key and select your Region
  4. Click Connect
