Overview

The ServiceNow integration monitors your IT service management platform: incidents, changes, CMDB assets, and audit logs. LowerPlane uses read-only OAuth access with instance-specific URLs to collect compliance evidence automatically.

Prerequisites

You need ServiceNow Admin permissions to configure the OAuth application and authorize access.

How to Connect

Identify your instance URL

Note your ServiceNow instance URL (e.g., https://your-company.service-now.com).

Start the connection

Go to Settings > Integrations in LowerPlane, find ServiceNow, and enter your instance URL.

Authorize access

Click Connect to be redirected to your ServiceNow instance. Authorize LowerPlane with read-only access.
