Overview

The Microsoft Teams integration monitors your collaboration environment: teams, channels, members, guest users, and security settings. LowerPlane uses read-only OAuth 2.0 permissions via Microsoft Graph API.

Prerequisites

You need Teams Administrator or Global Administrator access on your Microsoft 365 tenant.

How to Connect

Navigate to Integrations

Go to Integrations from the main navigation and search for Microsoft Teams.

Click Connect

Click Connect to initiate the OAuth authorization flow.

Authorize

You will be redirected to the Microsoft login page. Sign in with your admin credentials and click Accept to grant read-only permissions.

Add as Critical System

After connecting, go to Personnel > Access Reviews and click Add Critical System. Search for “Microsoft Teams” and add it to start monitoring user access.
