Overview

The Checkr integration connects via OAuth 2.0 to monitor background verification across your workforce. LowerPlane fetches background verification status, reminds admins for existing employees, and ensures new hires have completed checks.

Prerequisites

You need Checkr Account Admin permissions to authorize the OAuth connection.

How to Connect

Initiate OAuth flow

In LowerPlane, go to Settings > Integrations and find Checkr. Click Connect to start the OAuth authorization flow.

Authorize LowerPlane

You will be redirected to Checkr. Log in and authorize LowerPlane to access your account with read-only permissions.

Confirm connection

After authorization, you will be redirected back to LowerPlane. Verify the connection status shows as Connected.

Connecting in LowerPlane

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in LowerPlane
  2. Find Checkr under HR
  3. Click Connect and complete the OAuth authorization
  4. LowerPlane will begin syncing background check data
LowerPlane will automatically remind admins when existing employees are missing background checks and ensure all new hires have completed screening.
