Overview

The Keka integration syncs your HR data into LowerPlane: employee directory, departments, and employment status. LowerPlane uses your Keka subdomain, Client ID, Client Secret, and API Key to collect compliance evidence automatically.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure you have the Keka API & Webhook Add-On. If you don’t, contact a Keka sales representative — API access is considered an added service and may require an additional fee.
  • You need your Keka subdomain handy.

How to Generate API Credentials

Navigate to Settings

Within Keka, navigate to Settings by selecting the gear icon in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

Go to API Access

Under Integrations and Automation, navigate to the API Access tab.

Enable API Access

Enable API Access if you have not yet done so.

Copy Client Credentials

Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Create API Key

Select the Create key button and copy the generated API key.

Connecting in LowerPlane

Navigate to Integrations

Go to Integrations from the main navigation and search for Keka.

Enter Credentials

Provide the following:
  • Subdomain — Your Keka account subdomain (e.g., yourcompany.keka.com)
  • Client ID — From the API Access settings
  • Client Secret — From the API Access settings
  • API Key — The key you created

Connect

Click Connect to establish the integration.
