Overview
The Grafana integration monitors your observability platform: dashboards, alerts, data sources, users, and teams. LowerPlane uses read-only access via a Service Account Token to collect compliance evidence automatically.Prerequisites
How to Get Your Service Account Token
Create a service account
Go to Administration > Service Accounts > Add service account. Name it “LowerPlane” and assign the Viewer role.
Grant alerting permissions
Ensure the service account has Alerting :: Full read-only access permission.
Connecting in LowerPlane
- Go to Settings > Integrations in LowerPlane
- Find Grafana under Monitoring
- Enter your Grafana URL (e.g.,
https://grafana.yourcompany.com) - Enter your Service Account Token
- Click Connect
