Overview

The PagerDuty integration connects via OAuth to monitor your incident management platform: incidents, services, on-call schedules, users, teams, and escalation policies. LowerPlane uses read-only access to collect compliance evidence automatically.

Prerequisites

You need PagerDuty Account Owner or Admin permissions to authorize the OAuth connection.

How to Connect

Initiate OAuth flow

In LowerPlane, go to Settings > Integrations and find PagerDuty. Click Connect to start the OAuth authorization flow.

Authorize LowerPlane

You will be redirected to PagerDuty. Log in and authorize LowerPlane with the following permissions:
  • Incidents :: Read — Read incident data
  • Services :: Read — Read service configurations

Confirm connection

After authorization, you will be redirected back to LowerPlane. Verify the connection status shows as Connected.

Connecting in LowerPlane

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in LowerPlane
  2. Find PagerDuty under Incident Management
  3. Click Connect and complete the OAuth authorization
  4. LowerPlane will begin syncing incident management data
